Insight Treatment Program Inc. – Alabama Court Referral Education Program

Insight Treatment Program Inc. (ITP) is a private nonprofit agency dedicated to providing court referral and jail diversion programs across multiple counties in Alabama, including Mobile, Clarke, Washington, Choctaw, Escambia, Monroe, and Conecuh. Established in 1993, ITP has grown to offer a wide range of services aimed at addressing behavioral and legal issues while supporting individuals in making positive life changes.

Certified by the Alabama Administrative Office of Courts and the Alabama Department of Mental Health, ITP provides Level I and Level II Court Referral Education Programs. These programs are designed to educate and rehabilitate individuals referred by the court system, helping them meet legal requirements while addressing underlying issues related to substance use and criminal behavior. ITP operates with a team of experienced professionals, including managers, counselors, facilitators, and court personnel who specialize in human behavior and the criminal justice system. Employees undergo continuous education to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Over the years, ITP has expanded its reach and services, now offering nine professional programs across ten Alabama counties. In addition to court referral education, services include anger management, outpatient substance use treatment, drug and alcohol assessments, domestic violence intervention (Batterers Intervention), and a theft intervention program. ITP works closely with local, state, and federal agencies and is certified by the Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

Through its comprehensive programs, ITP remains committed to providing effective interventions that promote personal accountability, rehabilitation, and community safety.
