Fresno Mission Academy

Fresno Mission is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, restoring, and empowering individuals and families in need throughout the Central Valley. Through its five campuses and numerous community partnerships, Fresno Mission provides a holistic system of care that addresses both immediate needs and long-term transformation. The organization offers food, shelter, and crisis housing for men, women, families, and youth while helping participants rebuild their lives through counseling, education, mentorship, and job training.

A cornerstone of Fresno Mission’s work is its recovery and rehabilitation programs, including the Men’s Academy—a year-long residential program with aftercare that helps men overcome challenges such as addiction, homelessness, and incarceration. Participants engage in courses focused on life skills, relapse prevention, parenting, career development, and spiritual growth. These structured programs often include counseling and behavioral resources, helping individuals manage anger, reduce impulsive behaviors, and develop emotional resilience as part of their recovery journey.

Fresno Mission’s approach combines faith-based guidance with practical life tools, offering education through GED or college partnerships and vocational training through its social enterprises like Mission Thrift, Mission Auto, and EZ47 Coffee Shop. By integrating counseling, anger management, and job readiness, the Mission empowers participants to achieve stability, self-sufficiency, and restored relationships.
