Alpha Project/Casa Raphael

Casa Raphael is a state-licensed and certified residential substance abuse treatment program for men, located in Vista, California. This structured 12-week program provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals committed to overcoming addiction and rebuilding their lives. Using evidence-based practices, Casa Raphael helps residents develop the emotional, behavioral, and life skills needed for lasting recovery. Participants receive comprehensive care that includes housing, nutritious meals, recovery workshops, case management, mental health counseling, and access to medical and financial resources.

The program takes a holistic approach to rehabilitation, addressing both the psychological and practical aspects of recovery. Mental health counseling plays a vital role in helping residents manage emotions such as anger, frustration, and stress—common challenges during the recovery process. By incorporating anger management strategies and emotional regulation techniques into treatment, Casa Raphael empowers participants to gain control over their responses and make healthier decisions in their daily lives.

Supported by the County of San Diego and private donations, including contributions of new and gently used clothing, Casa Raphael provides a community-centered path toward healing and reintegration.
