Lifestyles Recovery Center

Lifestyles Recovery Center, Inc. is a nonprofit organization in Paso Robles, California, dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance abuse, anger issues, and other destructive behaviors. For over 30 years, the center has been “restoring hope one life at a time” by providing compassionate, affordable care through group sessions, individual counseling, and educational workshops. Their programs address not only the symptoms of addiction and anger but also the underlying emotional pain and low self-esteem that fuel these challenges.

A key focus of Lifestyles Recovery Center is anger management, offering specialized group sessions designed to help participants understand, manage, and control their anger in healthy ways. These 10-week sessions include videos, guided lessons, role-playing, and weekly assignments that encourage personal growth and emotional awareness. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of graduation. The program is open to adults and at-risk adolescents, including those from families affected by separation, divorce, chemical dependency, or violence. Scholarships are available for those in financial need, and tuition for students in the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District is fully covered.

In addition to anger management, the center provides recovery programs for alcohol and drug addiction, HIV prevention education, and violence prevention. Lifestyles Recovery Center is recognized by San Luis Obispo County courthouses and probation offices, allowing participants to fulfill court-mandated counseling hours through its programs. Guided by compassion, integrity, and confidentiality, the center continues to serve the underserved in its community, offering individuals a safe place to heal, rebuild confidence, and envision a hopeful future.
