WISEPlace is a pioneering nonprofit organization in Orange County dedicated to ending homelessness for unaccompanied women through safe housing, counseling, and supportive recovery programs. As the only local agency focused exclusively on this vulnerable population, WISEPlace provides a full continuum of care that empowers women to regain independence and rebuild their lives. Many clients have experienced domestic violence, trauma, mental health struggles, or addiction, and WISEPlace addresses these complex challenges through compassionate, evidence-based counseling and recovery support.

Each woman who enters WISEPlace receives individualized case management, mental health services, and access to employment assistance designed to foster long-term stability. The organization’s programs also include life-skills development, anger management, and trauma-informed therapy—helping participants learn healthy coping mechanisms, rebuild self-esteem, and manage emotions constructively as they move forward from crisis.
