Indigenous Wellness Alliance, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and communities through culturally grounded education, healing, and empowerment. Guided by Indigenous values and traditions, the organization provides a range of certificated programs designed to foster emotional wellness, personal growth, and healthy relationships. Their offerings include a 14-week Addressing Family Violence & Abuse program, which helps participants understand the roots of conflict, develop emotional regulation skills, and build healthier communication patterns—an essential foundation for effective anger management. The 14-week Strengthening Relationships Linking Generations program focuses on reconnecting families and promoting intergenerational understanding, while the Fatherhood & Motherhood Is Sacred program emphasizes the vital roles of parents in nurturing strong, balanced families. Additional programs include a 12-week Suicide Prevention course, addressing critical community mental health needs, and a 17-week Re-Entry program that supports individuals transitioning back into their communities after incarceration or recovery. Through these initiatives, Indigenous Wellness Alliance creates safe, supportive spaces where individuals can heal from trauma, manage anger and stress, and restore balance in their lives. With a new location coming soon to Mendocino, the organization continues to expand its mission of fostering resilience, accountability, and cultural connection among Indigenous peoples and the wider community.
