The Red Letter Project is dedicated to empowering individuals—especially women—through faith-based self-defense training and personal growth. Their mission centers on helping people build confidence, courage, and practical skills so they are never left feeling defenseless. Through virtual coaching, local co-ed courses, and immersive women’s retreats, The Red Letter Project provides a safe and supportive environment to learn firearm safety, situational awareness, and emotional control under pressure. In addition to technical skills, participants also explore mindset and emotional regulation—essential elements for managing fear, stress, and anger in high-stakes or everyday situations. These lessons not only strengthen self-protection but also support overall emotional balance and healthier responses in conflict.

A core part of the organization’s mission is rooted in hope and faith. The Reason for Hope Scholarship ensures that financial hardship does not prevent anyone from participating in a retreat or training session. The scholarship covers tuition, gear, and travel expenses for qualifying students, providing access to both personal defense education and spiritual encouragement. Applicants do not need to have prior experience, own gear, or be religious to apply. The Red Letter Project strives to make every participant feel equipped—physically, mentally, and emotionally—to navigate challenges with confidence, self-control, and faith-driven strength.
