The Embracing Project (TEP) is a transformative Rite of Passage program dedicated to promoting peace, healing, and empowerment among youth ages 12 to 21 who have experienced violence, sexual exploitation, or trafficking. Based in Las Vegas, TEP provides a compassionate, trauma-informed environment where young people can rebuild their lives through specialized programs and unconditional support. The organization focuses on holistic recovery, combining mentoring, education, therapy, and essential resources such as food, shelter, and personal guidance to meet the needs of vulnerable youth.

At the heart of TEP’s mission is its commitment to helping participants navigate difficult circumstances—whether they are facing court challenges, trying to complete their education, or seeking stability in daily life. The program’s mentoring services include both group and one-on-one support designed to foster emotional growth, self-control, and conflict resolution skills. Through these efforts, participants learn how to manage anger and stress in healthy ways, develop positive coping strategies, and build the confidence needed to move forward successfully.

TEP also operates a welcoming Drop-In Center where youth can access immediate assistance and connect with ongoing services, including therapy and its Pivot Point Short-Term Residential Treatment Program. With its focus on healing, empowerment, and emotional regulation, The Embracing Project offers a safe space for young people to overcome trauma, strengthen resilience, and embrace a brighter, more peaceful future.
