Man In The Mirror, Inc. (MITM) is a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening families through education, mentorship, and advocacy. Founded to fill a critical gap in representation for underserved young people, MITM was created to provide a voice and platform for those who were not being heard by the systems meant to support them. Based in West Babylon, New York, the organization focuses on developing programs that address real issues such as education, identity, employment, housing, and community responsibility.

At the heart of MITM’s work is its commitment to helping youth design and lead their own initiatives, fostering accountability, creativity, and leadership. Programs like “Youth Evening Enrichment Empowerment,” “Pipeline to Prison Prevention,” “Re-Entry Program,” and “Contemporary Issues Through Media” encourage self-expression and community involvement while addressing critical social challenges. MITM also provides targeted initiatives in literacy development, anti-bullying, and violence prevention — helping participants navigate emotional regulation and conflict management in positive ways.

In addition to its youth-focused programs, MITM offers support groups such as the Men’s Group, which provides a safe space for men to discuss personal challenges, anger, and interpersonal relationships while promoting emotional growth and self-awareness.
