Susan S. Hill is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience helping individuals, couples, and families overcome emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges. She provides a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore the issues that may be preventing them from fully enjoying life and maintaining healthy relationships. With an empathetic and collaborative approach, Susan works alongside clients to identify emotional blocks, resolve internal conflicts, and develop practical tools that support lasting personal growth and improved quality of life. Her work is grounded in helping people feel heard, understood, and empowered, especially during times when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted.
A key focus of Susan’s practice is anger management. As a Certified Anger Management Specialist, she helps clients better understand the root causes of anger and learn how to respond to it in healthier, more constructive ways. Rather than suppressing emotions, clients are guided to recognize triggers, build emotional regulation skills, and develop strategies that reduce conflict and improve communication. In addition to anger management, Susan treats concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction-related issues, and the long-term effects of childhood trauma. She also works with individuals addressing compulsive behaviors, including food-related challenges, and provides specialized support for bariatric patients, including behavioral change guidance and surgical evaluations.
Beyond individual therapy, Susan is an experienced speaker and educator who presents nationally on addiction, compulsive behaviors, stress management, burnout prevention, self-care, and relationship development. Through therapy, workshops, and speaking engagements, she is dedicated to helping people gain insight, strengthen resilience, and move toward healthier, more balanced lives.
