Mary’s Mission’s Outpatient Clinic offers comprehensive DUI services approved by ADOT and the courts, including screenings, education, and treatment. Our services ensure that information is electronically submitted, granting the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles immediate access to your results. We also offer same-day appointments for your convenience.
DUI Screenings should be completed within 30 days of your court order to maintain eligibility for a restricted driver’s license. These screenings consist of a face-to-face interview and two standardized tests that measure alcohol dependency and substance abuse. Screenings typically last between 30 minutes and 3 hours, with results electronically submitted to the MVD and the court.
DUI Education entails at least 16 hours of substance abuse education in a classroom setting, which must be completed within 8 weeks of the first class. A pre-test and post-test are administered to gauge knowledge gained. Upon completion, confirmation is submitted electronically to the MVD, and a certificate is provided to the court.
DUI Treatment for Level I involves 16 hours of DUI education and at least 20 hours of group counseling led by a Behavioral Health Professional or Technician. This treatment is delivered over at least 10 sessions, each lasting between 90 and 180 minutes, and must be completed within 16 weeks of admission. Extensions may be granted for jail time, illness, or family death. Confirmation of treatment completion is electronically submitted to the MVD, and a certificate is provided to the court.
Driver’s License Revocation Evaluation is part “C” of the Arizona Motor Vehicle Department’s License Revocation packet. It includes an assessment and a 30-minute minimum face-to-face interview with a licensed counselor. The counselor completes part C of the packet and sends original copies to the MVD for review, which makes the final decision on license reinstatement.
Clients should bring state-issued identification, DUI Education and/or Treatment certificates, driving record, and two character reference letters to their appointment.
