WGA's services begin with a confidential intake process that includes profile building, legal and DMV referrals, substance abuse and domestic violence assessments to determine the appropriate state-required treatment. During regular business hours, we offer the following screenings and assessments:

  • DUI and Substance Abuse Screenings
  • Domestic Violence Assessments

We provide case management services to help clients seek housing and utility assistance, complete school applications, connect with domestic violence and homeless shelters, conduct job searches, and access other beneficial services.

Individual counseling is offered in a private and confidential setting to address general mental health concerns. Our peer support services are delivered by individuals with shared experiences in their own recovery from alcohol or drug abuse.

Our DUI education and treatment programs consist of three levels:

  1. DUI Level II (16 Hours Education): A 16-hour educational group covering the legal consequences of a DUI, effects of alcohol and drug use, classifications of drugs, and the psychological and sociological impacts of substance use.

  2. DUI Level I: This includes 36 hours of substance abuse education and treatment, meeting state requirements for DUI-related offenses and satisfying legal orders and MVD requirements.

  3. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): This involves group and individual therapy focusing on early recovery, relapse prevention skills, and overall wellness for individuals and families.

We offer specialized domestic violence treatment for men and women, with levels of treatment determined by assessment and satisfied through 26, 36, or 52 group and individual sessions.

Our Families in Recovery groups address the dynamics of addiction within families and encourage family involvement in the recovery process. These groups are held weekly, along with individual sessions if recommended.

For those needing further substance abuse education and treatment, we offer a 36-hour program combining 16 hours of education with 20 hours of treatment.

Our aftercare program focuses on continuing care, emphasizing relapse prevention skills and support for a healthy lifestyle, including life skills for independence.

We also provide anger management classes to help individuals understand and express their emotions healthily, facilitated in group settings.
