Mental Health Support at Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center
At Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center (RWBAHC), we recognize that individuals react differently to stress and trauma. While some responses may be typical, others might indicate more serious mental health or substance misuse conditions. You are not alone, and numerous resources are available through the Military Health System to provide the support you need.
For immediate assistance, call or text 988 or visit 988Lifeline.org to connect with a trained crisis counselor who can offer support.
Targeted Care Approach
Our behavioral health clinic offers targeted care tailored to your specific needs. This approach ensures that you receive the right support, whether through individual appointments, group therapy, or non-clinical resources. The process begins with a preliminary assessment where a technician will listen to your concerns, assess your needs, and match you with the appropriate resources. This may include consultations with primary or specialty care providers, military and family life counselors, or a chaplain. Referrals are not required, and you will not be turned away from specialty care.
Comprehensive Services
The RWBAHC Behavioral Health Department provides a broad range of services from basic evaluations to complex psychotherapy, available both in-person and virtually. Our Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care (SUDCC) is fully integrated with behavioral health services, offering treatment for active duty soldiers, retirees, and dependents. SUDCC includes individual substance abuse counseling, whether voluntary or command-directed.
We are committed to providing compassionate and effective care to support mental well-being and recovery.
