At CK Counseling Group, we offer essential alcohol and drug screenings for those required by the Arizona MVD or court system. Our virtual 30-minute appointments provide a convenient and efficient way to complete these screenings. We utilize two key assessment tools: the Michigan Alcohol Screening Test (MAST) for alcohol and the Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST) for drug use. These self-reporting scales help determine the level of clinical recommendation for education or treatment, based on factors such as previous DUIs and BAC scores.

To initiate the screening process, clients must provide proof of their need for the screening, such as a citation, court documents, or an Extended Certified Motor Vehicle Report, along with a photo ID and completed consent forms via our HIPAA-compliant portal. During the appointment, ensure you have a reliable internet connection, a smart device or computer with a working camera, and a well-lit, private space.

It's important to note that alcohol screenings are designed to quickly identify potential issues with alcohol consumption, while substance abuse evaluations offer a comprehensive review of usage history and treatment needs. Most DUI arrests will require an alcohol screening with a licensed counselor, and courts may order additional screenings or treatments as part of legal proceedings.
