Wassaja Family Services is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles for individuals, couples, families, and groups within the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation through a comprehensive range of services.
Mental Health Services: Our outpatient mental health services include individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as preventative and educational information. We address a variety of mental health issues such as anger management, anxiety, depression, PTSD, children’s behavioral health disorders, developmental trauma, family relations, parenting issues, school issues, domestic violence, sexual assault, grief and loss. We also provide information and referrals for advanced psychological testing, psychiatric testing, and serious mental illness.
Substance Abuse Services: We offer outpatient services for substance abuse, including individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as an intensive outpatient program and group counseling. Our services also feature a Talking Circle for community support. We provide information and referrals for AA, NA, White Bison meetings, detoxification, residential treatment, and transitional care. We address issues related to the abuse and addiction of alcohol, illicit drugs, and prescription drugs.
Social Services: Our social services include child protective services, child welfare, adolescent case management, foster care, foster family licensing, adult protective services, and elder case management.
At Wassaja Family Services, our goal is to support the well-being of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation community through tailored mental health, substance abuse, and social services.
