New Dawn Behavioral Health

New Dawn Behavioral Health (New Dawn) is a Crisis Intervention Facility providing 24/7 services to children and adults. Embracing a no wrong door approach, New Dawn serves all individuals, regardless of their referral source. Whether through walk-ins, law enforcement, or mobile crisis team drop-offs, New Dawn is equipped to offer both primary care for physical health and psychiatric care for mental health. After stabilizing and observing a patient for up to 23 hours, New Dawn coordinates their transfer to an appropriate level of care and continues to offer supportive crisis preventive services.

Our DUI Screening is conducted online through a face-to-face interview with a behavioral health professional, lasting about 30 minutes. This screening assesses whether a client needs education or treatment and must be completed within 30 days of a court order unless specified otherwise by the court. Upon completion, we electronically submit your results to the MVD and help coordinate any required treatment with the courts or probation.

The DUI Education program consists of 16 hours of self-paced online videos and quizzes, facilitated by a behavioral health professional. After completing the videos and passing the quizzes, we submit your completion electronically to ADOT/MVD and assist in coordinating your treatment with the courts or probation. This course must be completed within 8 weeks.

Our DUI Treatment is based on the results from the DUI screening or a referral from the court. It includes 16 hours of DUI education and at least 20 hours of group counseling, all provided by a behavioral health professional. We ensure that your completion is electronically submitted to ADOT/MVD and aid in coordinating your treatment with the courts or probation.
