Granite Wellness Centers provides court-approved DUI programs licensed by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), including the Wet and Reckless course for individuals with a blood alcohol level at or below the legal limit. This six-week class addresses the immediate consequences of impaired driving and lays a foundation for responsible decision-making. In addition to the Wet and Reckless option, Granite Wellness offers DUI programs ranging from three to 18 months, accommodating various requirements determined by factors such as blood alcohol content, number of offenses, and directives from the DMV or court.
Participants can choose from day, evening, or virtual classes to fit busy work or school schedules. While the exact costs are based on program length, all fees are the responsibility of the attendee. Enrolling in a course is straightforward: simply contact the nearest Granite Wellness campus and provide the required documentation, such as court referrals or DMV paperwork. Once registered, you will receive a proof of enrollment for the court, which Granite Wellness also files online with the DMV.
Throughout these programs, compassionate and knowledgeable counselors guide face-to-face education and group sessions. Topics include the physical and mental effects of substance use, an overview of DUI laws, theories of addiction, and strategies to prevent future offenses. There is no homework, but consistent attendance and prompt payments are mandatory for completion. For detailed information on specific services, please visit the location pages, as availability may vary between campuses. These resources are designed to help participants successfully fulfill court requirements and make positive choices moving forward.
