The Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Program works with the Court to provide services to first time and repeat DUI offenders in several locations in Sonoma County. The length of the program depends on the number of offenses. Some offenders may qualify for a restricted license to drive to work and program services. First offenders and extended offenders often get restricted licenses, while multiple offenders typically lose their license for a year before a restricted license. Multiple offenders may also qualify to drive with an interlock device installed. Wet reckless offenders will regain their full license after completing the program.
The program adheres to strict confidentiality laws and cannot acknowledge attendance without a signed release form.
