The Ventura County DUI Program is now offering remote telehealth services to enable students to complete their programs on time during the COVID-19 crisis. Remote services are provided via video platform Zoom by certified counselors. This allows students to continue DUI classes virtually if placed on leave of absence (LOA) due to closures.
The Ventura County clinics in Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, and Ventura/Fillmore are currently providing first offender and multiple offender DUI programs through telehealth. The DUI programs consist of education, group counseling, and individual counseling.
By utilizing remote capabilities, the Ventura County DUI Program aims to allow students to progress through the mandated curriculum despite disruptions from COVID-19.
