Our Courses

At 1st Choice, we offer essential intervention programs for individuals facing legal issues related to substance use. One of our primary offerings is the Risk Reduction School, commonly known as DUI School, which is a 20-hour course mandated for those convicted of DUI, drug possession, underage alcohol possession while driving, or Boating Under the Influence (BUI). The program is structured over three days, typically held on weekends and includes an initial assessment that takes 30 minutes to an hour, providing a comfortable and supportive environment facilitated by our certified instructors.

Additionally, we conduct Clinical Evaluations, which are required by the State of Georgia for anyone charged with a DUI. These evaluations involve a one-hour interview with a licensed professional who assesses individual circumstances and history to provide tailored recommendations. While these evaluations may highlight substance abuse issues, not all individuals require follow-up treatment.

We also offer the Victim Impact Program, a two-hour class that examines the personal stories of victims affected by impaired driving, fostering awareness of the consequences of substance abuse. For those dealing with marijuana-related issues, our Prime420 program is an eight-hour course aimed at educating participants on the effects of marijuana use, its potential addictive nature, and its impact on driving capabilities.

Our courses are designed to facilitate personal growth and understanding while meeting legal requirements, all in a respectful and private setting.
