The DUI & Risk Reduction School offers a state-mandated program in Georgia for individuals facing alcohol or drug-related arrests seeking license reinstatement. The program consists of three essential steps. First, participants complete a comprehensive 130-question assessment, taking about 30-45 minutes, to evaluate their lifestyle and behaviors, which costs $100. Following the assessment, participants enter into a contract to begin the 20-hour DUI course. This course aims to increase awareness of personal risks associated with alcohol and drug use, guiding clients toward making informed choices to prevent future issues.
Classes are scheduled throughout the week, with sessions available from Monday to Friday, and the total fee for the entire program, including assessment and course fees, is $360. It is crucial for participants to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early, as late entry is not permitted according to DDS regulations, and no refunds are offered for the course. Upon successful completion of the 20-hour class, participants receive a certificate to present to the Department of Driver Services. The program is designed to help clients understand their behaviors and the impact of substance use, ensuring they are better prepared for responsible driving in the future.
