The Certified Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) DUI School offers a structured DUI Risk Reduction Program, available through both in-person and virtual classes via Zoom. Participants can complete the program in a comprehensive manner, ensuring they receive a certificate upon completion. The class schedule is designed for flexibility, with sessions held on Fridays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The program consists of two essential steps. First, students must complete the Assessment Component, which involves a 130-question assessment priced at $100. Following this, participants engage in the 20-Hour Intervention Component, costing $260, which must be completed within one year after finishing the assessment. This segment spans 2.5 days of intensive instruction, adhering to the Georgia DDS Rule 375.5.6-.18 that allows completion via Zoom.
Course materials are provided before the classes begin, ensuring that all registered students are well-prepared. An attendance policy requires students to be present for all scheduled dates and times to successfully complete the program. The total cost for the DUI Risk Reduction Program amounts to $360, which includes the assessment and the intervention class along with a workbook. This program is designed to help individuals effectively address their DUI offenses while providing the necessary tools for recovery and responsible driving.
