The DUI Risk Reduction Course is a state-mandated program in Georgia, designed to assist individuals in fulfilling court-ordered requirements related to DUI and other offenses. This comprehensive 20-hour course is divided into five sessions, each lasting four hours. It follows a curriculum approved by "Prime for Life," focusing on the dangers of high-risk choices and promoting low-risk alternatives to protect personal values. Timeliness is crucial; students must arrive on time, as latecomers will need to re-enroll and pay for another session.

Before attending the course, participants must complete a 130-question Assessment to evaluate their lifestyles, taking approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Assessments are available during regular business hours, and arrangements can be made for alternative times if necessary. Completion of the Assessment is required at least 24 hours prior to attending the class.

The course is offered on a set schedule, including Friday evenings and weekends, with additional sessions during the second and fourth weeks of each month. Upon successful completion of the program, participants receive a Certificate of Completion, which is either emailed or made available for pickup the next business day. The total cost for the program is $360, which includes the Assessment fee, course materials, and the Risk Reduction Course itself, as mandated by state law. This structured approach ensures participants are well-equipped to make safer choices and reinstate their driver's licenses effectively.
