Welcome to Southern Defensive Driving School, a certified driving school located in Rockmart, Georgia, dedicated to "Educating You for Safe Driving." We offer a range of courses designed to promote safer driving habits, including Joshua's Law Drivers Education Classes, Defensive Driving Classes, and the Alcohol and Drug Risk Reduction Program, commonly known as "DUI School." In addition, we provide Behind-the-Wheel Training for both teenage and adult drivers, ensuring comprehensive education for drivers of all experience levels.
Our DUI Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction Program (RRP) is regulated by the Department of Driver Services (DDS) and is mandatory for individuals convicted of offenses such as Driving Under the Influence (DUI), possession of illegal drugs, underage alcohol possession while driving, or Boating Under the Influence (BUI). The course includes an Assessment Component, which takes approximately 30 minutes to an hour, and a 20-hour Intervention Component. The total cost for this course is $360, which covers both the assessment and intervention components, along with a materials fee.
