The Professional 3-Day DUI School in Georgia is designed for individuals whose driving privileges have been suspended or revoked due to alcohol or drug violations, including DUI offenses. According to Georgia law, successful completion of a certified DUI/alcohol or drug use risk reduction program is mandatory for license reinstatement. Additionally, those with certain convictions may be required to complete this program as a condition of probation or court directives.
The DUI School comprises two main components. First, the Assessment involves a questionnaire that takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. The results inform the instructor during the intervention course, allowing them to address specific issues related to the participants' beliefs and behaviors concerning substance use. The fee for this assessment is set at $100.
The second part, the 20-hour intervention course, includes comprehensive classroom instruction, discussions, and educational activities enhanced by video materials and a manual. Punctuality is strictly enforced, adhering to state guidelines. The fee for this intervention is $235, with an additional $25 for the class workbook, bringing the total cost to $360.
This program is certified under State Certification # DUI 10196, 10248, ensuring that participants receive quality education and guidance. Additionally, the school offers free listings of addiction and substance abuse counselors to support those seeking further assistance.
