Family Guidance Center offers Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs tailored for individuals seeking structured support while integrating lifestyle changes to achieve their recovery goals. After a thorough assessment, patients collaborate with their care team to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses their unique needs and strengths. These plans may also encompass additional challenges such as physical or mental health issues, domestic violence, legal problems, and employment concerns.

In the Outpatient program, patients engage in structured treatment sessions, including both individual and group counseling. Individual counseling, available in-person or via telehealth, focuses on helping patients understand and address the underlying causes of addiction, including traumatic experiences and co-occurring mental health disorders. Using evidence-based practices, this counseling aids patients in recognizing and managing emotional and environmental triggers that could jeopardize their long-term recovery.

Group counseling complements individual sessions by offering social support, reducing feelings of isolation and stigma, and enhancing communication and interpersonal skills. It also provides a platform for practicing recovery-oriented coping strategies alongside peers. Additionally, FGC incorporates case management services, toxicology testing, and medication-assisted treatment to further support patients in achieving their recovery objectives.
