ReVive’s programs are dedicated to fostering healing and hope within the community by meeting people where they are. The Engagement Center serves as a crucial haven for those experiencing homelessness, offering a safe place to rest, access essentials, and connect with a supportive community. This center emphasizes personal growth and community involvement, offering activities and resources tailored to the needs of its members. The center’s unique approach ensures that individuals are treated with respect and provided opportunities to contribute to the community’s wellbeing.
Cressey House provides permanent supportive housing for single men, women, and families, focusing on individuals with disabilities and chronic health conditions. It offers a low-barrier admission process and supportive services aimed at improving health, income, and quality of life. Residents benefit from ongoing assistance to help them maintain housing stability and achieve personal goals.
Scattered Site Supportive Services extend to residents of Cressey House and low-income individuals at risk of homelessness. These flexible, person-centered services include case management, counseling, advocacy, and assistance with public benefits and housing. The approach integrates evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care to address individual barriers and support personal growth.
Additionally, ReVive’s Christmas Baskets program spreads joy and hope during the holiday season by providing gifts and grocery cards to struggling families and seniors in Chicago, emphasizing community generosity and support.
