Starting Point, the Substance Abuse Program of the Polish American Association, is dedicated to addressing substance abuse through culturally specific outpatient and intensive outpatient treatments. Rooted in the understanding that substance abuse is a chronic, progressive disease that impacts individuals, families, and communities, Starting Point provides targeted support to Polish-speaking individuals struggling with alcohol or drug dependence.

The program offers flexible evening outpatient groups throughout the week, making it accessible for those with daytime commitments. The office operates from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays. Participation in support groups does not require prior registration, allowing for immediate and supportive access to care. Starting Point is committed to helping individuals navigate their recovery journey with culturally sensitive and effective treatment options.
