Henry’s House was founded in October 2001 with the guidance of Henry’s mentor, Mr. Hollis Chester, and received its initial grant from then-State Senator Barack Obama. Our mission is to transfer the breath of a meaningful life from one person to another, offering a supportive environment for those in need. Since its inception, Henry’s House has welcomed over 8,000 individuals into our facilities, providing a safe and nurturing space for personal growth and recovery. Today, we proudly operate four locations across the Woodlawn, Grand Crossing, and Englewood communities, continuing our commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
