Alternatives offers comprehensive Individual, Family, and Group Counseling services, reaching hundreds of youth and families annually. Our team of trained and licensed therapists and case managers works closely with young people and their families to foster resilience, enhance family dynamics, and address various challenges. Adopting a strength-based approach, our therapists help youth recognize and build on their positive traits, ensuring they receive the necessary support to manage difficulties constructively.
Our services extend across more than 20 schools throughout the north, west, and south sides of the city, including Senn, Lakeview, Little Village Campus, and many others. We collaborate with community partners such as the YMCA and Pathways to further support youth in these areas. Our dedicated behavioral health therapists also provide individual and group counseling at residential youth centers, including Lawrence Hall, UCAN, and Ignite-Belfort House, as well as our Uptown and Washington Park Youth Centers.
These partnerships and services are designed to adapt each fiscal year, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
