If you've been arrested in Illinois for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or drugs, you're required by law to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation from a certified DUI service provider. Southwood Interventions is state-certified to offer these evaluations, along with DUI Risk Education programs and additional substance abuse intervention or treatment services. These programs, commonly known as "DUI classes," are essential to meeting court-ordered requirements and those set by the Illinois Secretary of State.
Southwood Interventions provides outpatient services for individuals who are assessed as needing a lower level of care and who can continue with daily activities such as work or school. Each client undergoes a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to determine their specific needs, and is assigned a primary counselor who develops an individualized treatment plan. The multidisciplinary treatment team includes physicians, psychiatrists, registered nurses, and certified addiction counselors.
Our outpatient services include individual and group counseling, family therapy, and psycho-educational groups that address issues impacting treatment goals and daily functioning. These programs integrate the principles of 12-Step Recovery with evidence-based clinical methods to support clients in achieving and maintaining sobriety.
Additionally, Southwood Interventions offers financial assistance for evaluations and treatment services for those who qualify, ensuring that all individuals have access to necessary services regardless of their financial situation. Your inquiry and personal information will be handled with confidentiality, and our services are designed to help you fulfill your legal obligations and work towards reinstating your driving privileges.
