Outpatient Treatment Programs
Our Outpatient Treatment Programs are designed to support individuals in achieving lasting recovery from alcohol and other drug use through professionally directed, structured interventions. The Basic Outpatient program offers a comprehensive treatment approach that focuses on modifying lifestyle, attitudes, and behaviors. Key components include the “Wellness Recovery Action Planning” (WRAP) program, which helps patients create a personalized plan for managing mental health and addiction, and the “Straight Ahead: Transitional Skills for Recovery” curriculum, aimed at developing essential recovery skills. Additionally, the “Helping Women Recover” program addresses the specific needs of women in treatment.
The Intensive Outpatient Program provides more intensive day and evening treatment options, combining patient education, group, and individual counseling. This program includes new curricula such as “Seeking Safety,” tailored to support women dealing with trauma and addiction, and brief intervention groups developed by Texas Christian University to address issues like motivation, communication, anger management, and social support for those in the criminal justice system.
Our Intermediate Counseling and Early Intervention services focus on identifying and addressing early problems or risk factors related to substance use. These programs assist individuals in recognizing the consequences of their substance use and making meaningful changes to avoid related issues.
Additionally, we offer specialized outpatient services, including DUI Program Services that provide remedial education and ongoing counseling, and Co-Occurring Disorder Program groups, which use evidence-based practices to support patients with both substance use and psychiatric disorders. These programs utilize integrated therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational enhancement therapy, and twelve-step facilitation to foster comprehensive recovery.
