The Share Program

At SHARE, a not-for-profit alcohol and drug detox rehabilitation facility based in Hoffman Estates, we are dedicated to helping individuals navigate their path to recovery. Established in 1977, SHARE provides comprehensive addiction treatment services for adults aged 18 and older, including outpatient gambling services and self-exclusion options. Our facility supports clients who are struggling with substance abuse and related issues, including family, employment, legal, medical, and financial challenges.

If you or someone you care about is questioning their substance use, consider reflecting on the following: Have you thought about cutting down on your drug or alcohol consumption? Have criticisms from others about your use been bothersome? Do you feel guilt or remorse about your drinking or drug use? Have you ever used substances first thing in the morning to cope with a hangover or steady your nerves? Answering "yes" to two or more of these questions could indicate a serious problem, suggesting the need for professional help.

SHARE is committed to making treatment accessible through discounted fees, flexible payment plans, and acceptance of Medicaid. We are also a preferred provider for many insurance companies, which may cover part or all of the treatment costs. Additional funding sources include contributions from the State of Illinois’s Department of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR), local townships, and private donations.
