Timberline Knolls provides specialized treatment programs for women and girls affected by eating disorders, trauma, substance use, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. Their residential program features individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's unique strengths and needs. Services include ambulatory detox, medication management, basic medical care, individual and group therapy, family therapy, and experiential therapies such as yoga and art therapy. Each participant receives support in a safe and inclusive environment, with care delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Residential care is organized into six lodges, promoting age-appropriate programming and positive peer interactions. Adult women typically stay about 33 days, while adolescent girls stay around 40 days. For those transitioning from residential care or starting directly at this level, the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers daylong programming with options for housing on campus. PHP includes ongoing therapy, medication management, and experiential therapy, with a typical length of stay of two to three weeks.
The TK Academy supports adolescent girls' academic progress with certified teachers who work with students at various learning levels. The academy collaborates with home school districts to ensure continuity in education during treatment.
Upon completing the program, participants receive a comprehensive discharge plan and are eligible for alumnae services, including a year of free aftercare support, annual retreats, monthly events, and access to a supportive alumnae network.
