United in Jesus Outreach Ministries (UJO Counseling Agency) is a nonprofit counseling organization dedicated to serving Fulton and the surrounding counties for over 15 years. Licensed through the Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR), UJO offers a wide range of services including family and individual counseling, DUI and substance abuse services, anger management, grief counseling, and support for parenting and stress-related issues such as anxiety and depression.
In response to the challenges posed by COVID-19, UJO has adapted to offer personalized, one-on-one sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. The agency emphasizes both short-term and long-term goal setting, focusing on equipping clients with the tools necessary for enduring positive change. UJO is committed to accessibility and inclusivity, providing services on a sliding fee scale and offering reduced or free services to approximately 80% of its clientele.
The agency's comprehensive service offerings include drug and alcohol evaluations, DUI risk education, early intervention education, and level 1 substance abuse treatment. Additionally, clients can benefit from the Foundations for Life Support Group, victim impact panels, and various forms of counseling including individual, couple, and family sessions. Anger management and stress management programs are also available to help clients effectively manage anxiety and depression.
