Thompson Counseling Services offers comprehensive evaluations for individuals arrested for DUI in Illinois, a crucial step before sentencing or receiving driving privileges from the Secretary of State. The process involves an alcohol and drug evaluation to assess your risk level and determine the need for treatment. The evaluation takes into account factors such as the number of DUIs, your Blood Alcohol Content (BAC), and any symptoms of Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Based on these factors, risk levels are categorized from Minimum to High, each with specific requirements for DUI Risk Education and Substance Abuse Treatment.
For completion of the evaluation, you must present essential documents, including the Law Enforcement Sworn Report, Driving Abstract, and other relevant forms. These documents are necessary to ensure your appointment proceeds without delays. Following a DUI arrest, you may also need to attend a hearing to discuss your driving privileges, where you'll present documents such as the Uniform Report, DUI Risk Education Certificate, and various treatment summaries.
In addition to DUI-related evaluations, Thompson Counseling Services provides Investigative Evaluations for court, probation, and parole needs. These include evaluations for substance abuse, mental health, anger management, and domestic violence. Each evaluation is tailored to the specific requirements of the case, ensuring a thorough and accurate assessment.
