At the Arlington Center for Recovery, we understand the gravity of receiving a DUI and the importance of addressing it promptly. Our Court Mandated/DUI Programs are designed to meet the comprehensive requirements set by the courts, probation departments, Secretary of State, and employers. Licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (DASA), we offer a range of services tailored to various risk levels.

Our DUI evaluation begins with a face-to-face interview with a certified addiction counselor who assesses an individual’s risk based on driving records, substance use patterns, and psychological factors. Clients are required to provide a current driving abstract, BAC results from their arrest, and any relevant arrest or treatment history.

We offer Risk Education programs spanning 10 hours, which are mandatory for minimal, moderate, or significant risk classifications. These classes cover legal, medical, and personal aspects of substance use and are available both day and evening. For those categorized as moderate risk, we provide an additional 12 hours of early intervention counseling. Significant risk individuals receive at least 20 hours of outpatient counseling, while high-risk clients undergo a minimum of 75 hours of intensive outpatient counseling, including a personalized continuing care plan.

Our counselors are also skilled in assisting with license reinstatement processes, including evaluations and hearings. Additionally, our intensive outpatient program, available in morning or evening sessions, offers an 8-week curriculum emphasizing relapse prevention and involving individual, group, and family treatment. We also provide outpatient substance abuse treatment focused on education, problem-solving, and personal development, with support from groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
