Human Support Services (HSS) offers a comprehensive range of Substance Use Services aimed at supporting adults dealing with alcohol or drug dependence. Our approach is rooted in compassion and understanding, focusing on individual and group treatment to foster recovery. We start with thorough assessments to determine the most suitable treatment options, using motivational interviewing to align with each person’s personal motivation and guide them toward their recovery goals.

Our outpatient services, available in both day and evening sessions, provide flexible treatment options for those who have a supportive home environment. These sessions include individual counseling and group therapy tailored to each client’s needs. Although we do not offer detox or residential in-patient care, our Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach helps clients develop effective coping strategies to manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, supporting their recovery journey.

HSS employs a Harm Reduction model to address the varying stages of each individual’s journey. This client-centered approach focuses on minimizing health and social risks associated with substance use, offering direct overdose prevention and Narcan education, along with support from peer recovery specialists.

Additionally, our DUI Services Program provides education and treatment for individuals with DUI citations, meeting court and state requirements. This includes DUI Court-Ordered Evaluations and a Driver’s Risk Education Program designed to educate individuals about the risks of drug and alcohol use. HSS ensures that those in need of these services can access support, with assistance available based on income guidelines.
