At Suburban Clinical, we specialize in comprehensive alcohol and drug evaluations, a service we have been providing since the inception of the DUI Law in 1986. Our expertise extends to DUI Evaluations and Updated Evaluations required by court orders and Illinois Secretary of State Hearings. We also offer DUI Risk Education classes and can refer individuals to additional educational resources as needed.
When individuals are arrested for a DUI, the Circuit Court and Illinois Secretary of State mandate a DUI evaluation. This assessment classifies the individual’s DUI risk and determines the necessary level of treatment and education. Based on the evaluation, individuals may be classified into one of four risk categories. Level 1, Minimal Risk, requires 10 hours of DUI Risk Education. Level 2, Moderate Risk, involves 10 hours of DUI Risk Education plus 12 hours of Early Intervention treatment. Level 2, Significant Risk, includes 10 hours of DUI Risk Education and 20 hours of Treatment classes. Level 3, High Risk, necessitates 75 hours of Treatment classes and 6 to 12 months of Aftercare classes. At Suburban Clinical, we are dedicated to guiding clients through this process with professional, tailored support to meet their specific needs.
