At Changes Place, we offer comprehensive DUI services designed to support individuals through the process of regaining their driving privileges and making positive lifestyle changes. Our DUI Program, licensed by Illinois DHS-SUPR and recognized by Illinois courts and the Secretary of State’s office, includes DUI Evaluation, Remedial Education, and Early Intervention/Treatment services.

The DUI Evaluation involves a face-to-face interview to assess risk factors and identify any substance use disorders. Based on this evaluation, recommendations are made across four risk classifications: Minimal, Moderate, Significant, and High Risk. Our educational programs address the effects of substance use and provide crucial information about intervention and community resources.

For those identified as Minimal Risk, the program includes 10 hours of remedial education. Moderate Risk individuals receive 10 hours of education plus 12 hours of early intervention to develop healthy coping skills. The Significant Risk program combines 10 hours of education with 20 hours of outpatient treatment. High Risk individuals undergo a minimum of 75 hours of outpatient treatment.

We also offer Continuing Care tailored to individual needs, which can include group or individual counseling to support ongoing recovery and prevent relapse. For those needing updates or resolution related to Secretary of State Denial Orders, we provide DUI Evaluation Updates and Denial Order Resolution services.

Changes Place is committed to helping individuals and families improve their quality of life by utilizing community resources and providing tailored referrals when our services may not be the best fit. Our goal is to ensure effective, supportive treatment throughout each person’s recovery journey.
