Cornerstone Services has been dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care to Will and Kankakee Counties since 1991. We offer a range of services designed to support individuals through their unique recovery journeys. Our comprehensive behavioral health services include access to board-certified psychiatrists and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, who provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management as needed.

At Cornerstone, we believe in personalized care and work with you to create a customized recovery plan that aligns with your strengths, values, and choices. Our programs are flexible, allowing you to engage in treatment for as long as necessary. We also offer 24-hour crisis intervention services, ensuring you have support whenever you need it.

Our services encompass a variety of evidence-based practices such as Individual Placement and Support (IPS) for employment, Wellness Recovery and Action Plan (WRAP) workshops, harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. You will receive an individualized assessment and program plan, coordinated case management, and access to supportive housing if needed.

For those facing homelessness, Cornerstone provides supportive housing through a “Housing First” approach, which ensures that housing is available regardless of participation in treatment or sobriety. Our housing services include budgeting assistance, case management, and eviction prevention. We also offer special programs for veterans and individuals with HIV/AIDS.

Additional support includes outpatient therapy services and group sessions through our Compass program, which focuses on skill development and peer support. Cornerstone Services also has a Co-Occurring Disorders program for individuals with both mental health and substance use issues.
