At AVP Counseling & DUI Services Inc., our evaluation process aims to assess the impact of a defendant's alcohol and/or drug use on public safety. We review driving history, chemical test results, Objective Test scores, and conduct an evaluator interview. The findings are documented in the Alcohol and Drug Uniform Report form, which is submitted to the Court or the Secretary of State for further action.

Based on the evaluation, recommendations are categorized into risk levels. For minimal risk, we recommend ten hours of DUI Risk Education. For moderate risk, we suggest ten hours of DUI Risk Education combined with twelve hours of early intervention over at least four weeks. Significant risk cases require ten hours of DUI Risk Education along with twenty hours of substance abuse treatment and ongoing participation in a continuing care plan. For high-risk individuals, we recommend a minimum of seventy-five hours of substance abuse treatment and active ongoing participation in a continuing care plan.

AVP Counseling & DUI Services Inc. is dedicated to providing non-discriminatory, comprehensive support for recovery. Our services include drug and alcohol assessments, DUI evaluations, DUI education groups, substance abuse groups, individual counseling, aftercare groups, and laboratory drug testing. We also offer mental health counseling and documentation for treatment needs. Our mission is to guide individuals toward a healthier lifestyle in all aspects—physical, mental, social, spiritual, and financial.
