Addiction, or Substance Use Disorder (SUD), is a chronic health condition marked by uncontrolled substance use that leads to social issues and risky behaviors. The good news is that addiction is treatable. At Centerstone, we use evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans grounded in scientific research from our Research Institute. Symptoms of SUD include a strong compulsion to use substances, increased tolerance, neglect of financial and personal responsibilities, and withdrawal symptoms. These signs may indicate that it's time to seek professional help.
Treatment for addiction varies based on individual needs. We offer a range of options including outpatient services, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), support groups, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient detox services, and residential treatment programs. Outpatient services involve regular counseling and peer support, while IOP provides more intensive care with both individual and group therapy sessions. Our support groups offer peer interaction and skills to manage stress and prevent relapse. MAT combines medication with behavioral therapy to manage cravings and support long-term recovery.
For those requiring more intensive care, our inpatient detox services ensure medical supervision during the withdrawal process, and our residential treatment programs provide a structured environment with therapy, social activities, and educational support. We cater to various needs, including those of pregnant women and individuals with co-occurring disorders. Each treatment approach is designed to address addiction comprehensively and foster recovery.
