Rosecrance, with a distinguished legacy spanning over a century, is dedicated to guiding individuals and families towards a more hopeful and fulfilling life. Our comprehensive behavioral health services are designed for those experiencing mental health and substance use disorders, offering personalized, outcomes-based treatment programs tailored to individual needs.

Among our diverse offerings, the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) stands out as a structured, evidence-based approach to treatment. This program provides weekly and monthly care for substance use disorders, adapting to each client’s progress with various levels of support. Whether transitioning from residential treatment or requiring more than standard outpatient services, IOP ensures clients receive the necessary care through group and individual counseling, educational sessions, and relapse prevention planning.

Our IOP is available for both adolescents and adults across multiple locations in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin, with options for in-person and virtual participation. Common schedules include nine hours of group counseling per week for eight to ten weeks, followed by a step-down phase of around five hours weekly for four weeks, and continued individualized care. The program emphasizes education on preventing substance use, avoiding triggers, building supportive connections, and integrating family support, alongside 12-Step meeting attendance.

Additionally, Rosecrance addresses co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders through specialized treatments like dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), aiding clients in emotional regulation and long-term recovery. With Rosecrance, clients gain valuable insights, new skills, and a renewed sense of joy and confidence, making it a leading choice for those ready to turn hope into reality.
