LADOS Division 2 provides state-certified, evidence-based substance abuse education designed to address substance-impaired driving and reduce recidivism. The program offers comprehensive services tailored to individuals with varying levels of need and includes a strong emphasis on DUI intervention and education.

The program’s Level 2: 10-Hour Basic Substance Abuse Education focuses on individuals at low to moderate risk. It emphasizes understanding the effects of substance use and making low-risk lifestyle and behavioral adjustments. For those requiring a more intensive approach, Level 3: 20-Hour Basic Substance Abuse Education delivers comprehensive education for high-risk individuals, specifically those experiencing substance use symptoms indicative of a progressive dependency. This level aims to foster deeper understanding and behavioral change.

Additionally, the program includes a Victim Impact Panel, which personalizes the consequences of impaired driving through real-life narratives, helping participants understand the far-reaching impact of their actions on victims, families, and communities.

Until further notice, LADOS Division 2 classes are conducted online through a telehealth platform, allowing participants to complete assessments and sessions remotely. This ensures accessibility and flexibility for individuals participating in these critical programs. By promoting informed decision-making and personal accountability, LADOS Division 2 aims to save lives and transform futures through effective substance abuse education.
