ASI specializes in court-related substance use disorder services, offering comprehensive assessments, screenings, education, and treatment tailored to meet the needs of individuals involved in the legal system. Services include initial assessments, referrals, and court-mandated Level 0.5 Education/Early Intervention programs, as well as Level 1.0 Extended Outpatient Treatment. ASI also provides access to mental health services, including co-occurring disorder therapy and EMDR therapy through its sister company, kä(l)m therapy group, PLLC.
ASI conducts OWI/Substance Use Disorder screenings and assessments via telehealth for individuals who are court-ordered or self-referred. These screenings comply with Iowa Code 321J.22 requirements for those convicted of Operating While Intoxicated.
For individuals with a first or second OWI offense, ASI offers specialized programs to satisfy legal requirements. The OWI 1st Offense program provides education and diversion options, with both group and private room accommodations available. The OWI 2nd Offense program is an intensive two-weekend course focused on accountability, victim impact, and restorative justice. Both programs include DOT reporting and provide completion certificates upon successful program completion.
ASI also offers Level 1.0 Extended Outpatient Treatment, with both individual and group counseling sessions conducted via telehealth. The treatment is client-centered, trauma-informed, and tailored to meet each individual's specific needs. This service is available for residents across Iowa, with a goal of providing innovative, supportive care to promote long-term recovery.
