The Recovery Center at Manning Regional Healthcare Center, located in West Central Iowa, offers a comprehensive range of services for individuals facing chemical dependency. This 16-bed, co-ed facility is licensed by the Iowa Department of Public Health, providing clinically-managed and medically-monitored care for both adult and juvenile clients at various levels of addiction treatment. Services include detoxification, residential treatment, and outpatient treatment, all tailored to meet each individual's unique recovery needs.
The detoxification process, often the first step toward recovery, is medically supervised to manage withdrawal symptoms safely. This stage typically lasts from 1 to 5 days, depending on the severity of the addiction. The Recovery Center also offers a 30-day residential treatment program, where clients receive personalized care with more than 31 hours of services each week, including individual counseling, family sessions, and recreational activities. A distinctive aspect of this program is the Concerned Person Program, which allows families to participate in therapy and counseling sessions to better understand their loved one’s journey.
For those unable to commit to a residential program, the Recovery Center provides outpatient treatment, offering flexibility for individuals to maintain family and work responsibilities while receiving therapeutic support. This program typically requires 9 hours of therapy per week and can last anywhere from 3 months to over a year. The goal of all treatment plans is to support individuals in achieving a drug- or alcohol-free life, with services that are customized to each person’s specific needs.
