Seasons' outpatient substance use disorder program is grounded in a 12-step addiction treatment model, providing personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each individual. The program emphasizes the first four steps, focusing on acceptance of the disease and the importance of turning the addiction over to a personal higher power. The goal is to alleviate substance use issues, enhance overall functioning, and prevent the development of further problems for both the individual and their family.
The program offers three levels of care based on the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria: Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Extended Outpatient (EOP), and Continuing Care (CC). Each level uses a variety of therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, to help patients achieve their treatment goals. Therapists at Seasons are highly qualified, with education in psychology, social work, and related fields, and are certified or eligible for certification through the Iowa Board of Substance Abuse Certification. This comprehensive approach ensures that clients receive the support they need at every stage of their recovery journey.
