Bridges of Iowa offers a comprehensive, long-term approach to addiction treatment that emphasizes community-based care. Recognizing that addiction is a complex, long-term challenge, their program moves beyond short-term solutions, providing clients with a sustainable path to recovery. The treatment process begins with highly structured residential care, including group therapy, one-on-one counseling, health and wellness activities, and support groups like AA/NA. As clients progress, they enter the halfway house phase, where they gain more responsibility, secure employment, and develop essential life skills, such as resume building and financial management. Bridges of Iowa partners with local employers to help clients find and maintain employment while promoting financial independence.

The final phase is outpatient treatment, where clients transition to independent living while continuing therapy, drug testing, and individual counseling. Upon graduation, clients are clean and sober, employed, and actively participating in support networks. The program’s success lies in its dedication to helping clients overcome obstacles and regain their independence. Bridges of Iowa’s treatment is provided at the West Wing of the Polk County Jail, offering an austere environment that allows clients to focus on their recovery without resort-like distractions. With a team of compassionate, experienced staff members, Bridges of Iowa ensures each client’s journey is tailored to their unique needs, empowering them to rebuild their lives and reintegrate into their communities.
