At Dirigo Counseling Clinic, we offer immediate openings for Driver Education and Evaluation Programs (DEEP) to support individuals navigating the consequences of alcohol or substance-related driving offenses. Approved by the state of Maine, our services meet all DEEP requirements and help clients work toward regaining their driving privileges while addressing any underlying issues. We recognize how stressful an OUI/DUI arrest can be and are here to make the process as smooth and respectful as possible. Individuals arrested for an OUI in Maine must comply with both judicial and administrative systems, and completing the DEEP program is mandatory—even if the judicial system drops the case.

Clients have two main options: enroll in the 3-day Risk Reduction Program, which includes 24 hours of education and screening, or, if a substance use issue is acknowledged, bypass the program and move directly into treatment. Those who choose treatment must agree to abstain from substances and follow an aftercare plan.
